The TV Addicts Club meets a few times per year to enjoy brand new and old classics of movies. Come along and meet people with the same enthusiasm, and relax in front of the box with delicious treats to enjoy whilst we watch. All are welcome! ‘Resistance’ 2020. Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Ed Harris, and Clemence Poset
This historical drama tells the story of Marcel Marceau, an aspiring mime artist in Strasbourg, France, in 1938. A new purpose comes calling with the threat of World War II, as he joins the French Resistance and focuses his efforts on saving the lives of thousands of children from Nazi territories and evacuating them to Switzerland.
Powerful and compelling, this beautifully written and directed film brings to surface another largely unknown true story of courage and sacrifice.

We will be offering at light buffet supper from 18:30, the film will start at 19:30. £5 donation towards food. Booking essential so we know how many to cater for.
