EHRS Fest: A taste of what our community has to offer.
Please join us at EHRS as we showcase our fantastic Synagogue and all it’s offerings, with stalls, lunch, and LIVE demonstrations for you to enjoy on our main stage.
Discover Nagila, Stonegrove Serenade, Cafe 118, Israeli Dancing, Youth Groups, Cookalongs, Community Care, Together Groups, Social Action, Book Club, All Things Jewish, Singing Circle, to name just a few!
Come and see what’s new at EHRS. The buildings have changed a great deal and if you haven’t been for a while come and see the lounge, café, refurbished nursery, new youth facilities in the community centre and see what is planned for the future.
Ex HRS member waiting for the right time to get involved? It may have been 5 years since the merger, but a lot has happened in that time which hasn’t always helped to bring the communities together. EHRS is vibrant community formed of many previous communities and individuals. Come along and meet fellow ex HRS members and find your new home at EHRS.
Paying for EHRS membership and want more from it? There are over 50 groups and activities being represented on the day and opportunities for new Together Groups where there is demand. Not everything is appropriate for everyone but there is something there for you. Come and see what is going on and find something that you didn’t know was on offer, meet the people involved and see how you can get involved.
Got out of the ‘Shul’ habit? We often hear that people used to be involved with their community but now have got out of the habit. Perhaps because of lockdown, or just over the years. Why not make the time to spend a couple of hours meeting your fellow Shul members and see if there is something that could tempt you.
New to EHRS? If you joined since lockdown then this is the perfect way to find out everything about the exciting community that you have joined. Whether you’ve started to get involved or been meaning to, come along and receive a special welcome for new members. This will help you to find your way around the site and meet other members and see what you can get from your new community and what you can give to your new community.
Interested in giving back to EHRS? If you have any spare time, even from a couple of hours a year, we need your help. There are many ways that you can give back and support your community so come and meet us and talk to us and see what is right for you.
There is definitely something for everyone at EHRS!
