EHRS Family Camping 2025
We are delighted to announce that this year we will again be going to Wellington Country Park for our yearly Family Camping Shabbaton. Just an hour away from EHRS in Riseley, near Reading. https://wellingtoncountrypark.co.uk/
A unique Shabbat experience with Rabbi Debbie & other families, surrounded by the wonderful outdoors. We will come together to bring in Shabbat with a Friday night BBQ, enjoy an inclusive outdoors Shabbat morning service, and see out Shabbat together with a Havdalah fire pit. (marshmallows mandatory!).
With plenty of free time… you will have 24hr access to the country park included in the camping fee. The park is perfect for children and the whole family, with huge adventure playgrounds, an enchanted forest, splash park, indoor soft play, mini golf, dinosaur trail, sandpits etc. as well as beautiful woodland walks and lake trails. There really is so much to do, hence why we just can’t find a better site!
This year we will also be offering a programme of optional activities for older children/siblings (aged 9+). This will enable them to explore the park in a different way and get involved in activities designed for their age group.
The weekend away costs £182.80 based on a family of 4 (2 occupants will be cheaper and additional people over 4 will come at an extra cost, under 2’s are free) this is to paid directly to the campsite and they will calculate the actual price for your family make up. All meals are provided, we just ask you to also please make a contribution to EHRS to cover costs for food and resources.
We have limited availability and a short time frame to keep our group booking so please book by 17th February to not miss out!
Details on how to book:
- Ring Wellington Country Park on 01189 326 444. Ask to speak with Ellie.
- Give the date of the weekend 20th – 22nd June and the reference KOSTER. This will ensure you are booked into our reserved group area. They will take payment over the phone.
- Complete the EHRS booking form below and make the *contribution payment. This will also give us all the information we need on your family and let us know have booked with the campsite to join us!
