This Year Mitzvah Day is Going Greener and EHRS are again running a number of activities in and out of the Synagogue. We are Renewing, Collecting, Recycling and Bringing Joy so please do join us for a fun morning! You can join Rabbi Mark at Harrow Weald Recreation Ground to plant an orchard and add bat and bird boxes, or join Rabbi Emily & Marian at EHRS for the morning as we collect and recycle. We will also be visiting Norwood's Kennedy Family Centre to Make & Bake.
We are Renewing:
10:00-12:00 Making & Baking at Norwood’s Kennedy Leigh Family Centre
10:00-13:00 at Harrow Weald to plant an orchard with their volunteers
10:00-12:00 at EHRS cleaning up Nagila and finishing the Nagila Mural
We are Collecting:
Plastic Bags, Old T-shirts, Sanitary Pads/Tena Lady Pads (new & boxed only, no loose items and no tampons) to give to ‘Bloody Good Period’
We are Recycling:
Knitted Pet Blankets, Plastic Bags into PLARN (plastic yarn),
Recycled Pet toys using old t-shirts for the RSPCA
We are Bringing Joy:
Visiting Jewish Care’s Anita Dorfman Home in Stanmore
