Topics will include that the teachings of wisdom must be based on a moral code; fear of Heaven and must be translated into actual practice; and the importance of having a good character in the application of wisdom.

Lunch & Learn
Saturday 17 August, 13:00
Each Passover we tell the story of what it was like to be slaves in a foreign land, and remind ourselves to celebrate the gift of freedom. The 23rd of August marks the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition.
Join Rabbi Emily for this bring & share afternoon where we examine how the Jews of America viewed slavery in light of our past.
